A week late, what to expect?

I had sex with my partner on the approximated day of my period on the 22nd of April of this year. It was my first time and we used and condom and we don't think it broke but i am still a week late on my periods and we are both starting to worry. Is that normal? If it's not when would be the best time to take a pregnancy test!?

If you had sex the day your period is due you wouldn't be pregnant. You could just be having a longer cycle than usual - I would test to be sure if you are a week later than expected with no signs of aunt flo
