so listen to this pickle. this is interesting what is going on with me!

this cycle (1st day of last period) started March 4th.
-have had no period since then. ultrasound and HPT and blood test was negative last week (april 17th).

-my husband and i had sex March 31st and i'm wondering if i am pregnant and the tests have just not picked it up yet!
-I have felt so pregnant. nausea, fatigue, low back pain, breast pain

-AND last night, april 21st, i started spotting very light brown, and i mean very light spotting, barely there. still very light small amt of light brown today (22nd) going on. very mild cramping here and there, but breast still soooo painful and full.

could i be pregnant, could this be implantation bleeding this late????

How many DPO are you?

Well it could be implantation. I recently had the same thing happen to me and I to a HPT and I got a BFN. But my husband told me to wait longer. I would wait for another five days before testing again... Wish you lots of baby dust.

hi, thanks for the response.
i believe i started ovulating march 26 or soon after. my husband and i had sex on 31st so i know fertilization was possible. i've read the entire procees from ovulation/fertilization to implantation can take up to 24 days.
-fetilization up to 5 days
-travel to uterus up to 6 days
-implantation 6-12 days

as longs as the spotting doesn't get much heavier to indicate a period, i definitely plann on taking another preg test in a week

If you had sex AFTER ovulation - you wouldn't be pregnant. The egg only lives upto 24 hours without fertilization and then implantation takes 6-10 days from there so unless you had sex prior to ovulation (sperm can live upto 5 days) I would say you are definitely not pregnant and it's Aunt Flo.

How long are your cycles normally?

I think the luteal phase in general is always close to 14 days. The period before ovulation is what varies greatly. It is not likely that you are pregnant as you are so far from ovulation, but who knows. Could you have ovulated late? If an egg does not attach to the lining eventually the corpus luteum will stop producing progesterone as it atrophies. This phase is also very consistent among women, so if your luteal phase is always about 2 weeks then that will rarely change but ovulation could be delayed due to a number of factors, resulting in a late period but no pregnancy.

thanks again to both of you for responses. I see what you are saying. i am very irregular, so i totally can not be sure of my ovulation date. originally i thought i ovulated march 15th or 16th and my husband and i had sex prob every other day from march 14th to march 24th.

-then....no period ever came and i thought i saw an increase in the egg white discharge again around march 26th..hence why i referenced that date above. so now it is april 22nd. i have had no period since march 4th. but started having light brown discharge since last night flowing lightly and it has not gotten any heavier as of today.
i don't know what to think. i keep wondering if it is really pregnancy as i know an ultrasound can't see a fetus for about 6 weeks or more and tests don't pick it up till a certain amt of hcg.

well ,I'll tell you what... my aunt KNEW she was preggo and she had an ultrasound and blood test and all came back negative. It was to the point they were testing her for MS and other diseases because she was so sick. She kept saying "i Know I am pregnant"....long story short her daughter turns 15 next month ;) this was her 3rd pregnancy :)
