Question

Neg OPK to pos OPK in 4 hours. What does this mean?

CD 17, first OPK was taken at 5:00 pm, second OPK was taken at 9:00 pm same day. I see a progression from negative to positive, but what does this mean?

During a normal cycle, your body will have a low amount of luteinizing hormone, the chemical detected by an OPK. Suddenly, 12-36 hours before ovulation, your body will begin to produce a lot more LH! When this amount peaks, you will get a positive OPK. I looked at your tests, and seems to me that at 5pm you had quite a bit of LH, then at 9 pm, it peaked! Quite normal and very good. Time to get busy :)
