13 days late, negative HPT but pregnancy symtoms
Hi gals! I need input, please! I actually went on the mini-pill or P.O.P. in September of last year. I had two normal cycles while on the pill....just a lighter but longer period. Which I knew could happen. I started the 3rd round of BC pills in early November. My 3rd cycle of AF was supposed to arrive 12/5. Nothing came. At this time, I told my DH I did not like how the POP made me feel and we agreed for me to finish the remainder of the BC I was on. On 12/16 I finally got what I thought was AF....but it was different ...more mucos and blood. It was odd. BUT, I let it go since I also finished the last pill the day before and did not start a new pack. Now it's 1/26.....no AF, 2 weeks late from when I should have got my period, assuming the one in Dec. was a period. All negative HPT's...got a positive/ or evap. Line yesterday 2 hrs late. neg today. I have all the preggo symtoms too! Drs appmt. Is set for the 29th to see what is up! Could I be preggers? I always have norm. AF, weird!

Just from doing simple research online....withdrawal from BC pills includes:
* delayed ovulation and menstruation
* irregular periods
* short-term infertility
Your body is trying to reset itself. You won't go back to having a regular cycle right after you stop BC pills. From past experience, I have been 2-4 weeks late in getting a period after I stopped BC.
You can't expect normalcy just yet.
