is this a real period or spotting?

i have more than my normal spotting , its normally pink and light. this is brownish and it not a flow but i have it everytime i wipe for the past 2 days . should i consider this a period or spotting.

From previous experience with the same thing and talking to my gyno...it could be "sluff-off" from a previous menstrual cycle. Basically your body cleaning itself out. Brown color means "old" blood. I hope this might help :)
