Question

conceive straight after miscarraige...?

Hi there, i had a MC at 6 1/2 weeks, on 3rd Jan. I have read alot about waiting at least 1 months cycle, some say 3 before TTC. I just cant wait another month, if i ovulate soon, i just dont want to let it go. Am i at higher risk of MC again, so soon after the 1st, or will it make no difference? All i know is that it make's it more difficult to work out EDD. I had a MC 10 years ago also at 6 /12 weeks. So i am worring that something is wrong with me. Im 31 now so really dont want to wait! Any advice would be appreciated.

I miscarried on Dec 5 at 7 weeks, bleed for one week, ovualted on day 15 of that cycle and fell pregnant again. I miscarried again on Jan 11. My doctor told me there is no greater chance of miscarrying again and to start trying again right away. Emotionally I'm shattered but I know exactly how you feel, I just 'need' to be pregnant again, so hopefully it happens soon. Hope everything works out for you :-)

Are the doctors going to start testing you? Do you want that, or time to take a break?
Good luck :)

First, I'm so sorry for your loss. I've had 3 consecutive losses this past year...I know it's hard. Secondly, what does your doctor say about when you can try again? If your doctor told you to wait, you need to listen to what you were told for the amount of time you were told to do so. I would recommend waiting one cycle to give you body time to heal and for you to work through your emotions. It is very normal after a loss to want to try again right away, however, how are you going to feel if you do try again so soon and have another loss? Ultimately, you need to make a decision based on what your doctor told you and what both you and DH are ready for. GL!

Hi, thanks. I haven't seen the doctor, as I was delt with at A&E, then referred to the mat wing for bloods & scans. Have not been informed about trying again. I know the most common opinon is to wait 1 month. I just dont want to wait that long. :(.....Even though i might have to! :)
