I don't think you've missed ovulation yet if your cervix is still high.
Your CM may just be a bit off this cycle.
If you find that it's really sticky, try taking some Robitussin a few hours before BDing which should help to thin it out.

hey thanks for your answer... I checked it again later and it seemed fine again so I guess it was just me...being weird.... It's now milky, like a lotion. But not very stretchy, I can just about take my fingers off each other and it breaks already.

BTW, have you been using OPK's to pinpoint O day?
If not, I suggest you go get some and use them over the next few days.
Make sure you use afternoon urine though, and not FMU as the LH surge happens in the morning and not overnight(it's kind of the opposite of using HPT's, but you still want to hold your urine for a few hours before testing).

Actually had an appointment with my Dr. today to find out why it hasn't happened yet(This is our 7th cycle trying), and I have to get some OPK's today because I should be Oing sometime around the weekend.

I'm booked for an ultrasound on the 31st and have a heap of blood work to do(whenever I can fast for 14 hours and skip my morning coffee, which is really tough for me. lol). Dr. is also sending the man in to get his boys checked...I told him he should buy the plastic cup dinner first and bring some candles for mood lighting. ;)
Oh, I also found out that my cervix is tipped, so rather than lying down with my hips elevated after bding, I have to lay on my side.

What does it mean when you're cervix is tipped?? Can you feel that yourself?? Cause when I feel mine the hole feels sort of against the back wall of the vagina. But I thought maybe that was just because I was 'squatting'/sitting on the toilet.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. lol

I think though that in your situation, the elevated hips thing should work as that would get the sperm closest to the opening.

I usually find it quite hard to find a good position though, cause I'd put a load of pillows under my bum and put my legs against the wall but it doesn't feel like it's really elevated that much.. but that might just be me...
I lay in foetal position sometimes (on my back obviously). Or put my legs in the air and raise my hips and hold my hands under them. But that's not very comfortable to do for like 20/30 minutes... :S
