Hi there. First off, I'm sorry for your losses and that it's taking so long for you. I'm over 4 years into this and though you gain some coping mechanisms, it's never really easy. My thoughts are that adoption is one of the best routes to go. I would have probably already started the process if I wasn't currently living abroad (I want to adopt children in state custody). I say that if you can afford to do it and have the time to wait (as infants have the longest waiting times and often more costly) then go for it. However, in my personal experience the longer the infertility process is getting the more flexible I'm becoming with my adoption parameters. It's always a personal decision that both you and your partner need to make together, but I definitely think adoption is a wonderful service.
