Coming down from a miscarriage...levels taking forever to drop...
I am almost 6 weeks out from my D&C and my HPTs are still showing positive....and not getting lighter. I had a post-op transvaginal ultrasound that showed no leftover tissue, a healthy lining and eggs waiting to be matured in my ovaries. But, my levels were 246 two weeks ago and 126.5 last week. This week...my HPTs are not getting lighter....and hubby and I have been BDing regularly.
I was told I cannot ovulate unless my levels are below 5. But then I read otherwise online....and women who got pregnant again 2 to 4 weeks after their miscarriage.
Maybe its my levels and they may be still between 50-100....but my HPTs are not getting lighter....so of course I am hopeful.
Anyone have experience with any of this?

Hey, there. How are you? I haven't been on much. Had to get back to business. :) Since we m/c about the exact same time, I'm probably a good source for comparison. Mine seemed to be really stubborn for awhile and then came down. I didn't get bloodwork. Just did a million HPTs and OPKs to compare. I just got my period Sunday at 5.5 weeks. Last time it took 4 months so I was happy to see it. I also just picked up some Clomid - it's cheap here in Greece and we don't need an Rx. So I might start that tonight. I don't think I ovulated before AF. I was testing but some was HCG so hard to read the OPKs. None spiked long enough to indicate O. Sounds like you will O though and hopefully soon, so you might be on the same timing as mine for first O. Message me if you need to talk. :)
