Q: When is the right time to try again

What do u believe is the perfect time to start ttc again after a missed miscarriage..? dr. told me to wait 3 cycles..but she only said that because that day i looked pale (i had just passed the fetus in the morning, i didnt sleep for over 24 hours, and didnt eat much at all, and i cried all day) i basically looked worn out... so she thought i looked physically too tired to ttc right away...i wana ttc right away though..dont want to waste a minute..i feel like its the only way i'll move on ..:( i dont know if i'll get pregnant right away..but i dont really wana waste more time... :( how accurate is being most fertile after miscarriage?

I think your making the most sense..I will wait...Hoping i'd be strong enough to wait..cause as u said another miscarriage would hurt more because it would be totally my fault this time.. I will however ask the dr. if things look better now ...wishing u the best as well...and sorry for ur losses xox

If your doctor told you to wait 3 cycles, then you need to listen to your doctor. She may have other reasons besides you looking pale. Most doctors have their patients wait due to health and emtional reasons. She may want you to give your body time to heal and the lining of your uterus to build back up. Think of it this way, if you go against your doctor's orders, get pg again, and then have another miscarriage...how are you going to feel? If for some reason, you feel ready to start again, maybe make an appointment with your OB to make sure it's okay that you do so physically. Otherwise, please listen to your doctor. With my missed m/c, I was told to wait 2 cycles. I only waited one, got pg our first cycle trying...and had another miscarriage. It was so heartbreaking and I, of course, blame myself. Wishing you all the best in the future.
