EWCM but AF is due today

I have never noticed EWCM that is more lotion-like when AF is due until this cycle. Is this a common sign that AF is on the way, or is there still a chance for BFP?

Those sound like 2 different types of CM u are describing. EWCM is usually more slippery or wet and lotiony type is usually considered creamy. Because of hormonal fluctuations you can experience either b4 af. I dont think any specific type rules u out unless accompanied by bleeding:) GL!
