Asked by a member

Q: What are my chances of being pregnant? I'm not trying to but I'm scared so I joining this site.

My boyfriend and I had intercourse the day before I ovulated and he accidentally ejaculated inside of me. I didn't get the morning after pill because we don't believe in it. My cycle is very regular and I always get it on time give or take a few days. At first I wasn't nervous until I realized I was ovulating but now I have been feeling extremely weird and off lately and my sense of smell is ridiculous. Is it just nerves or could there be a good chance?

If your period is still so far off, it wouldn't help to test now. Wait as long as possible, because tests will work better the closer you are to your period. Even the tests that say you can test 6 days early, don't have very good statistics. Your body needs time to build up the hormones. Good luck.

Every cycle that you have unprotected sex, you have a 20% chance of conception. If you do not end up being pregnant, and do not want to get pregnant right now, consider using some form of birth control. Condoms can be very effective when used properly. If you continue to not use any form of birth control (and just using "withdrawal" is not very effective...which is what I'm assuming you are using since he "accidentally" came inside you) eventually you probably will end up pregnant. Pre-cum fluids do contain sperm so that's something to keep in mind. Good luck to you and I hope you get the result you desire.

I would also say you have a good chance. Sperm can take time to travel, so it's a strong possibility.

There is a very good chance that you could be pregnant. Take a test.
