Not sure if period or not?????

Hey i was due to come on my period on 23rd April and part from mild cramping there was nothing then i started bleeding on 3rd of this month but was literally only showing up on tp when i wiped, and was red. I'm still bleeding but not heavily like a normal period,have some cramping but not much, i keep having headaches and hot flushes which never get when on. I'm not going through the usual amount of pads and am only usuing 3-4 a day instead of 6-7. There are only very small clots. What i need to know is what you think could be as looked on google and top results are implantation bleeding and miscarriage so i'm very confused any answers would be appreciated

Well something similar has just happened to myself.
I started bleeding on 30/04/12 but i wasnt due untill 04/05/12 When i started bleeding it was really light and not like my normal AF at all. Then i started having tiny clots but not much. I stopped then started again.
I took a pt & there was a faint line, i took another one and it was super faint. Ive taken one since and it was neg.
So i'm not sure whats happened, ive just taken it as if i was pg im not now.
You could always do a hpt and see what happends.
