It's very natural to be nervous before your appointment, especially if you think something is wrong! Most likely, the doctor will take you into their office to discuss your medical history. It's VERY important not to leave anything out even if it's embarrassing for you. After that, she'll give you a physical exam and probably order blood tests to measure your hormone levels. That will give them some direction to narrow down what the problem might be (if there is one). I know they can give you Prevara to stimuate blood flow (it takes about 10 days for your period to arrive on that medicine). They'll most likely also monitor your next natural cycle to see exactly what's going on. I'd recommend asking lots of questions to make sure you understand everything and DON'T do too much research online afterward.
