If I ovulate late, should I automatically assume that if I don't get preggo my AF will be late?

Not necessarily - I've ovulated later than usual a couple of months and had af show up right on time (or show up a couple days late too). So it's happened both ways for me - so I don't think you should automatically assume it will be late. Remember that stress can keep af away too, so if you're worried about it being late, you may make it late :) Hopefully you'll be preg and you won't even need to worry about the witch showing up at all for 9 months!!!
