Question

WHAT IS THIS BROWN?? Brown discharge, NO AF, 3 days late.......

I have only been keeping track of my periods so my ovulation could vary. Here are AF dates: Oct. 20, Nov. 25, ......and I was predicting Dec. 31....all 35 days... On Dec 23 I had a brown discharge only noticable when wiping. This slight discharge lasted until Dec 30. I had extreme pain on Dec 25, including stomach and back pain. I thought it could be associated with the holidays (too much food!!!) so didn't think much of it. I had an upset stomach Dec 29, a continuous headache Dec 29 - 31. And now my nipples are super sensitive....I'm not sure what to think. I took multiple hpt all a BFN. I last tested yesterday..... It is now Jan 3, I'm assuming 18 dpo....what is going on? Was that brown just AF a week early. Should I move on? Help!!!

Well since you didn't actually have a full period, it could just be a partially missed one due to pregnancy - sometimes the hormones that cause AF slip through a bit even though you are pregnant. Keep on testing (every 3 days or so if you can be patient, haha) and see if you begin having a BFP somewhere along the line - it may take a while for the pregnancy hormones to build up high enough to be detected by hpt.

Best of luck!!!! :)
