I’d say yesterday was your first positive, when it first surpassed the color of the control line.

Thanks ladies! It's nice to see other women my age. If I get another positive hpt I'm going.to get in early to get my labs done and check my progestrone. You should see my opk this.morning it is even darker. Would you say the darkest is my surge or the first positive?

I agree that as we get older our hormones fluctuate big time! So sorry for what u have been through! It must be scary! I’d still get some tests done to see about your hormones. It may just be a simple fix if you are really trying for another. I wish you all the luck!

Plus we don’t have the luxury of time, so that’s a ton of added stress. I keep saying every month it doesn’t work that I’m done, but then I end up trying again! I really wish you all the best if you decide to go for it again!

Do you track your temps too? That can tell a story about your hormones. I’m a little petrified to be doing this at 42, I had my dd at 39 but I can feel such a hormonal shift in those last 3 years. And my bbt chart is way more erratic. I understand your fear!

Dillion20 I remember talking to you last time I was pregnant back in March. I have had three losses since last Oct when I got my period back from breastfeeding. The last loss was right at 9 weeks but I hemorrhaged so bad. I'm kimd of terrified to even try again.

Am going on 7 months . Age def plays a factor in thyroid too along with hereditary big time and can make your hormones out of wack!!! I’d request to get it checked just in case!

I had a missed miscarriage at 15 weeks because my thyroid was way off! I wasn’t getting enough tsh. Then I got preg with my son a few months after my dnc and was monitored every 4 weeks and he went full term and is healthy! Same with this baby girl. I’m monitored every 4 weeks and

We’re in the same boat then! I’m 40 and on my 5th child. I have under active thyroid (hypothyroidism). Have been in meds since about 5 years ago and when I get pregnant my thyroid goes CRAZY! My meds are constantly being adjusted during my pregnancies . About 2 years ago

I have but not in a long time but it does run in my.family. if I do have it it would be over active because I'm super skinny. It is probably just my age I'm 43. Lol

mmsnell36   5 years ago
