It's not visible on the the photo but in irl there is a faint line on the second strip

To make the test start to look for the blue, the 3rd line is where the results are read.

The digital will always have at least 2 lines. It's the type of blue that the test reads. When you are pregnant then the blue is much more vivid. (I did a few experiments a few years ago whilst trying to conceive my son) The big thick line is the control line, the 1st line will trigger the response
