Yeast Infections & Bacterial Vaginosis

I am currently 9DPO and yesterday My toilet paper seemed overly rough even though I buy the softest kind available. I thought it was strange but didnt think on it too much.

This morning I woke up and realized due to more symptoms that I have a Yeast infection. I am Starting treatment tonight with monistat.

I know that yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis are both common during pregnancy due to hormonal fluxes, but what I'm just learning online is that having either ,this early on is an un-talked about very early symptom of pregnancy. Usually occurring from about 7 DPO to 14 DPO .

I'm crossing my fingers that this is true and that I'm carrying, but it's just too early to tell, (cause I also took my first HPT but it was a BFN. I will be re-testing tomorrow morning on 10 DPO.)

The other thing that my best friend just told me is that an old wives tale says if you have a yeast infection you're having a boy, and if you have bacterial vaganosis then you're having a girl! Don't know if that parts true or not but I thought it was an interesting way predicting gender.

But here's my real question, Has anyone ever experienced this as a symptom of early pregnancy? and if so can you confirm the old wives tale?
