*WE ARE LIKE FINE WINE* full & robust!

Well, managed to round myself up last night & hit the disco for a bit, happy DH & it was nice to go to sleep NOT thinking about my woes (un-ttc related) Thank God for ovulation & it's ability to "respark the embers for the cause"

Today, gym errands & some family time tonight. DD has her 1st princess birthday party to go to so we have to go shopping today. I don't know what I'm more excited about, seeing her at the party or that the parents are gonna run a tab @ Starbucks across the street so that we don't overload the fire code at the party place!! It's like having a free mini-date w/ my hubby

I just like the idea of "vintage" being like a beautiful, elegant wine versus somebody's old clothes (even though I like old clothes) :-)

Hi ladies,

I haven't had a lot to share but just wanted to say, I'm rooting for each of you. There's not much to report here, I'm CD8 - so my DH and I have some BDing in the near future. I also went out and bought pre-seed and opks (I'm new to both). I've also started recording everything on www.fertilityfriend.com.

Have a great weekend everyone!

(Oh, and my name is Lee)

Happy St Pattys day everyone!

I've been in a weird situation last couple weeks. Only God knows how much I want to have our baby... and I was so annoyed and upset with non-stopping BFPs...I never thought I would be in this situation, when I am taking the test, looking at it and..."damn, this stupid bfp again" :)
I couldn't wait to hCG from my miscarriage to leave my body.
Apparently I have not bad of metabolism and it didn't take long especially considering that my hCG were 76,000 before d&c...
Today is my first day of AF...first time since my ttc AF is such a welcomed guest!!! it means I'm back in the game

visited my doc yesterday (2 weeks post d&c check) she said everything is beautiful...and it's true I don't have any health issues at all except those years I;ve accumulated through the life ...next month I'll be 39...I can run fast, swim even better, do handstand, back flip and own the floor in a club...but when it comes to ttc it all doesn't matter, my eggs are still 38yo eggs but I am sure there is plenty of good stuff left and I just need to be patient.

Hey everyone, Happy St Patricks day, lets hope the luck of the irish touches us all in some way this month.

I am definately a bottle of full bodied mature wine...me and my eggs...

Hey esperenza I hear ya girl...it is the graziest irony that we want to see 2 lines so desperately but after a miscarriage we are desperate for just the one. Its great that AF has come and you are back on the TTC road once again.

I also like that no matter how you look at it the eggs are not as old as we feel but in fact as old as we are. My specialist was very encouraging though and said that at my age there are more faulty eggs than good ones, but it is no reason to give up and that with luck we will get a healthy egg for our healthy pregnancy.

AFM: I had a hysteroscopy 2 days ago to exclude Ashermans as a reason for the reccurent miscarriages, everything looks great, except that one of the tubes looks blocked. That is not of concern as it is not a cause of miscarriage. I was so happy as every test so far is looking very much like we dont have a problem other than age.

I am taking on board what MM has been talking about and thought that the pre tww is the time to encourage feelings of love and harmony during the maturation of the follicles, I am visualising a healthy egg being matured, and feel that the loving feeling we are having for each other is nuturing this. We are aiming for less mechanics and more touch and feeling.

Well sisters must go...fingers crossed that we all get what we want this month...lot sof BFPs

Well said about nurturing the connectdness withpartner first...dh always repeats "it's you and me who are together; baby or no baby we are family"
right dh is not a big fan of trying again; after he saw what I've gone through...for him it's me and my well-being which comes first. But good thing that we are doing it anyway:) on more than a regular basis and my mirena is out (damn, I should take it three years ago but that time I didnt want any more kids)
so I do believe that eventually (sooner or later) I'll get another bfp though after this miscarriage (it was my 1st ever) I will not be as happy as before; it will be fears, doubts "how long will this one last?" but I chose this challenging journey voluntarily so I am willing to deal with whatever comes along.

Good morning ladies!!

Esperanza I love what your dh said about the two of you- very heartfelt! Mine says the same, but oh how I want dh to experience the love of raising a child! And sometimes that's a little scary for me, because I wonder if I can? I would feel awful. So instead I stay positive and very hopeful! :)

Last month we did everything; preseed, opks, baby asprin, pineapple, temps...You name it! Period this month was one day late, and it's unlike never before? I have never had a stronger one - so I am watching it! Wonder if the asprin really invigorated the lining? Not sure.

But my dh and I have decided to go back to the old fashioned way, since we are old fashioned ;)... We're aren't doing anything except focusing on each other. He said yesterday that he's been reading and fully believes we're too focused on making a baby. I said earlier "let the love happen and babies come" ...so it's my motto now!!(MM my chemistry will be right this month!!)

It's funny though, this morning, I found it so hard not to temp - I kept asking myself, shouldn't I do all I can? So, the internal struggle begins....:) I will try hard to relax. I will try hard to relax. I will try hard to relax.... (Yes, ladies I am trying to talk myself in to it! ) LOL

CD2...Month of just being a regular old gal, no themometer in hand, no pinapple in the fridge, no peeing on opks. Just me and dh loving each other...fingers crossed.

Baby dust !!

I'm finding a balance is key, I know opk's temping make me nuts (& opk's cost $$!) I can handle taking supplements because I would anyway, I kinda like the softcups because I hate the messy part of "after". Hubby's aware of "party week (or so)" and he's kinda learned to enjoy it because my mojo goes WAY down after ovulation anyway. I've fortunately learned to read my o signs pretty well & we've fallen into a routine that feels fairly natural. This month has felt really relaxed, hope that bodes well!

Cheers Ladies!
