Calvin, I'm so sorry for your loss!

Oh noooo! Im so sorry Calvingirl. Big hugs ???? I hope you are coping ok. Yes it was a real little life for however short a time they were here, to you (and your partner) Don't be afraid to grieve. Im so sad for you its a real rollercoaster of emotions.
A week ago today I found I had an ectopic just days after getting a very early bfp. Sometimes I wonder if testing early is such a good thing or not, I dont have the will power or the patience however not to test.

We have decided to only wait for one period before trying again. I didn't have methotraxate or surgery and my numbers are dropping. Blip was close to the womb on edge of fallopian tube they think as saw a bit of blood there but too early to see exactly. So i have expectant management! Who comes up with these cold phrases!! ??Next bloods on Monday. Has any one tried so quickly after ectopic? Everyone grieves differently, but we just feel desperate to try again.

I have a question... I usually ovulate on CD13 or CD14, but this cycle I ovulated on CD11.
I got a +OPK on Saturday @ 13h00 and some heavy cramping. Since we are ttc a boy, we dtd at 01h30am that morning - 13 hours after +OPK. I had another + OPK at 07h00 Sunday morning. Heavy cramping started and I felt a weird twinge stabbing pain in the left at 07h50 and again at 08h30. The cramping was severe and I had to catch my breath some of the time. I tested again at 09h40 and it was negative - the lines were lighter. Cramping still continued until 13h00 that afternoon.
Can anyone tell me if this is good to conceive? We also BD on Friday night - I didn't know that I was going to ovulate so soon. :-( But anyways... keeping fx for a boy.

Thanks everyone. I started AF yesterday and today I've been passing clots (sorry if tmi). Big ones. I think it's all clearing out fine and it wasn't ectopic. I went to Drs and got my blood test so they can make sure the count is going down, and got the rhogam shot in the a$$. That was loads of fun. Talk about insult to injury. Anyway, yes it's hard but not as hard as it would be if I had gone longer and miscarried. At least this wasn't very painful physically.

Panda, I'm so sorry about your little blip. That sucks. I'm planning on trying again right away. We can't afford to lose a cycle because of my age, and they say you are the most fertile after a loss... Something about waking your body up. Lots of anecdotal evidence of people getting their rainbow baby a cycle or two after an early loss. So good luck to us both!

We dont want to wait and my age is well against us.
However people seem to be saying its nest to give the lining a month to settle after ectopic.

Have you seen/know different?

Maybe we should go for it, who knows!

What would you do. No advice was given by the GP he just asked what I would be using for contraception from now on!! They just write me off as being too old...its our choice!!

I've just heard so much anecdotal evidence (and read) that if the loss was early enough in the cycle, the next cycle should grow just as good if not a better liner. Screw that doctor, and get another, or if you can get it covered by insurance, go to a reproductive endocrinologist (RE).

I'm also taking a bunch of vitamins and baby aspirin to get my lining nice and thick.

Im in the UK so get free health care but have just applied ti change.

My ectopic was round about when I would have had my period about a day late. I was too to stop vitamins/folic acid etc until bloods came back low. They are down to normal.

So if I had have had my period I would be ovulating this weekend. I've tested and no surge yet but will keep up. Are you saying that's not too early to try?
Both our gut instincts are telling us to but still I am worried the same thing will happen again if too soon.

Cant decide, Im still very tired too, but will be tired if I caught anyway. Should ovulate on Sat/sun

Hi ladies, 37 months TTC and two days ago, I woke to a beautiful . I was in shock...no symptoms but I took another test today and it's brighter. I feel so good, physically and mentally. Blood draw HCG was 185 . Praying for . I'm hopeful again...
