do you know how long your luteal phase is? because if it is average (14 days long), then the spotting could actually be implantation bleeding. and temperature dips are normal when implantation occurs. so...

My luteal phase ranges between 14-15 days. The past two months, it has been 14. I havent been tracking any symptoms this month bc we are taking a break.....cause too much stress on me lol. Do you really think it could have been implantation? Do temps normally drop after spotting cause im not sure how that works. Should i try taking a preggo test sometime next week?

yes it really does sound like implantation spotting! and yes it is pretty common to have an "implantation dip" then your temp usually shoots up again and they call it a triphasic chart or somehthing like that...they can explain it better on fertilityfriend.com. but anyways they say a triphasic chart is a good indicator of pregnancy!!! the only thing im a little skeptical about is that your temp was low again today...if Af doesnt show up and your temp rises again id deffinatly consider taking a preggo test next week!

Thanks so much for your help!!! Well....97.98 and 97.97 isn't too low for me....i wont havent started until it was 97.7 or lower. I really hope so!!!! I have been dieting and i have lost twenty pounds in the past two months...so maby that helped. lol

lol it sounds like it might have! i really do wish the best outcome for you because i know how hard it is getting those bfn every month! have you had any other symptoms other than the spotting?

Ummm....I've been really tired but that could be because I haven't been sleeping as good as I usually do. This morning I noticed that my nippps/breasts were really tender/sore when my hubby tried to touch them. lol This morning my bbt was 97.93 but we bd an hour before (activity always brings my temp down....so it is higher than that lol)

im glad to hear your temp finally decided to pop back up...thats weird though that activity makes your temp lower it usually makes mine higher lol. my friend just found out that she was preggo and the only symptom she really had was that she was tired and wasnt sleeping well either. i havent really had any symptoms (not really sure that i ovulated) but if i did im like 5dpo so it wouldnt really show up i dont guess. ive just been tired and a little nauseaus.

I should start my period this sat if 14 day luetal phase this month. I just dont understand why my temp is acting so crazy...usually around this time, they range from 98.0-98.3 and normally my temp only drops to 97.9ish one time...followed by really high spike. I know that my temps are still considered "high" but still....its really wierd. I have been charting my bbts for over three months and my temp has never been at 97.9ish for more than one day....and this is my third. I dunno. Im confused lol. Thanks girls. thank you! and if you temp orally maybe youve been sleeping with your mouth open? and you said that you havent been sleeping good that could also be effecting your bbt...it could honestly be a number of different things. but im sure everything will work out!
