was i ovulating?

Hi, this is my first post here. I have a question, last week I had ewcm and then when I had intercourse there was some blood on my bf, dies that mean I was ovulating? I don't use bbt, I only track my periods and ovulation on an app on my phone. We had intercourse on the 12th but the app says I shouldn't have ovulated till the 16th. Do you think what I described above was just early ovulation?

I don't think blood is a common indicator of ovulation, but I'm not certain. I would recommend getting an ovulation predictor kit though. Then you'll know for sure. I use Clearblue...easy to use and read.
