Who's with me on the 2WW?

Hello all,
I am new here. Getting straight to the point. I am now 10 dpo. Hoping this is my month as I had a new symptom at 7 dpo. Came down with a sore/itchy throat for that one day only. Don't know where that came from. Also CP was high with a soft cervix that day as well. Now it's back to medium high and medium soft. Sore boobs. dull cramps.
Hoping for bfp. AF due in 1-2 days.

The way she was explaining it and telling me sounded like she thought I was single and sleeping around. She even mentioned multiple partners. As soon as I said that I was married and reminded her that I already told her we were trying to get pregnant she was like "oh yeah then you should be fine."

The abnormal pap came back very low grade. During the procedure she said that she agreed with the pap there wasn't much there. But she took a piece just in case. So I'm not too worried. I just didn't want them to do the part that could be harmful to a pregnancy.

Also, we can't use condoms. My husband is super allergic to them. He's even tried the non-latex ones and those still irritate him. So as long as it stays very low grade I'm not too worried.

But thanks for the helpful ideas! If it gets worse then we will have to re-evaluate.

I am sure she didn't mean that you were sleeping around. It is just a common reason why some women get HPV. To be honest, men are carriers and normally have no symptoms at all so they may never know they even have it and spreading it. HPV can also stay dormant for years and may not show any symptoms in women as well. Truth is more than 80% of the human population will have HPV at least once in their lifetime and have no idea. It is very common. My first instinct when I found out I had it was thinking I was gross or my husband cheated.. I thought it was the end of the world.. That is until I educated myself about the facts! Talk to your doctor about your Dh being allergic to condoms to see if there are any other options!

exactly. the reason we find out that we have it is because we get paps and hpv testing done. theres no test for men.

Yeah I've read a bunch about it. And I get that condoms will help us not transmit it back and forth. But since we don't know for sure that I have it she didn't tell me anything about how to help it clear up. She was talking about how to prevent myself from getting anything.

Its hard to describe the conversation that happened. I know I'm repeating myself but it wasn't about how to get it to clear up. The message was well if you use condoms when sleeping with multiple partners then you lower your chances of an abnormal pap. Which I get. However, my file states that I am married and actively trying to get pregnant. She was very embarrassed and caught off guard when I reminded her. I've only been to that office twice and both times I've not liked it. So I will be locating another doctor.

It bothers me when a doctor doesn't take the time to know the background on a patient before making comments. It's unprofessional. I've had it happen before. I had to have a spinal tap. I sat in this guy's office the week before to talk about what was going on and the need for the procedure. I walked into his office the morning of the appointment and he sat us down and said why are you here today? Really? You're going to stick a needle in my spine and you have no idea who I am or why I am here. Yeah haven't gone back to that office either.

Yep! They should really invent a test for men... I wish they would have had that Gardasil shot back then, I would have def gotten one!

I don't blame you Danielle! I really don't think I would want to have a doc I didn't feel comfortable around either. I hope you find a great doc that will help you! My last obgyn that delivered my daughter was taking pics of women's hoo-ha's with his phone and putting them on porn sites! He is now in prison.. He was never very friendly either and threatened to not deliver bc I wasn't pushing right!!??! This time I am using a female doc and I am feeling pretty confident that I will like her much better!

Oh i totally understand! working for a dr who goes above and beyond to know her patients, its a double edge sword lol she spends the time with everyone but then runs at least an hour behind lmao love her to death tho and she is my standard for every dr i meet for myself, my wife and children.
