HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Girls... I am sooooo sorry that I just went AWOL. I was sure that I had posted at least the big dreaded BFN, but I guess I didn't. After my second IVF bust, I was so depressed and down and I put myself on a self-prescribed No-Google and No-forum period... It had gotten a bit out of hand and I had gotten into trouble with DBF, who felt I was doing nothing else but TTC-surfing anymore...
Taking a break from the Internet helped me to enjoy the Holidays and not worry about TTC for a short while. On the plus side, I was able to enjoy some wine and champagne.

@elisabeth: Congrats on your BFP girl!!

@dragonfly: how agonizing these endless cycles must be for you. I think the wait must be killing you. Hopefully you can get the clomid to make you finally O.

@jenny: Wishing you lots of great dates!! ;)

AFM, after my last IVF cycle, AF did not come until CD32 (20 DPO). My period lasted only for a day and a half and I o'd on CD 8 or 9. Today it looks like AF will be here tomorrow (which is only 6DPO or CD15!). I am honestly worried about what the IVFs did you my formerly clock-work cycles? I pray that once the witch is here again that this will be my "reset" and the beginning of a normal cycle so that I can start fresh.

I started DHEA about 3 weeks ago and I have high hopes about it. I will probably wait until I have taken it for at least two months (ideal would be three or four) until I will try a third IVF (which is prob going to be my last). I have not much time to waste, as I will be 43 in July and I am basically already on the DE book for any RE...

Will check back for sure this time! ;)

AF arrived this evening in full force. Let's try this one again... *sigh*

I want to reply to everyone but I am so tired I can hardly see...

...and I'm so mad I could spit. Today I saw a very nice doctor who told me, "I'm sorry, I can't do anything for you, but I'll give you a referral to OB." Which makes perfect sense, considering I called OB to make an appointment last week and they said, "Oh no, we can't do anything for you, you have to go to the family clinic for fertility issues." And so that's where I went today, where they told me I have to go to OB.

And when I tried to call OB to make an appointment all I got was a busy signal.

Can I cry now??

TC, sorry about your crazy cycle! Hoping and praying for a BFP soon for you! Are you attempting another IVF?

AFM: not much to tell and so I've been quiet. I've been working out regularly which is awesome for me (still motivated woo hoo!). Haven't started the dating thing yet but mostly because January is a very busy month for me, so I don't want to pay a membership for a site and not be able to actually meet up with anyone for the first while. We'll see what happens in February. I'll keep you posted!

Hi ladies! I just wanted to stop in and up date you guys, I am currently 14 weeks and just started my second trimester! My first trimester was awful and I was sick for most of it, but I am still ever so thankful.

I just wanted to say that I still think of you ladies and stop back in occasionally to check in and read your updates. I wish you all the best!!!!

Glad to hear everything is going smoothly for you and you are into your 2nd tri and out of the sickness now! Please keep us posted as things progress! i'm so very happy for you!!

I feel like giving up. It's been a week and I still haven't been able to get through to the OB office. Seriously. It is ridiculous.

Plus...I ovulated last Thursday, had a very clear thermal shift plus I felt the ovulation strongly. And then, on Monday (yes, four days later) my period started. Not just spotting, but heavy. What on earth do I do with a 3 day LP??! And that is the only thing that has been consistent, 14-15 day LP. *sigh*

Ha, apparently throwing a temper tantrum gets me what I want. I have an appointment on January 31. Yay!

Glad you finally got in for an appt Dragonfly! I definitely feel for you and your crazy cycles! Hopefully they can figure things out for you!!

Hi girls...

I am still lurking. My last cycle ended after 17 days... wtf! I have always been super regular with 25 day-cycles and O on day 14... Since the second IVF, everything has been a mess. As I speak, I am on CD15 with absolutely no sign of O, niente, nada. And the stupid CBFM is showing Highs since CD7! I think my estrogen must be too high or something. Darn it!! Not sure what to do... I am taking a ton of supplements, which supposedly may increase egg quality and fertility. DBF is also on a bunch of them I put him on. I feel like the night nurse when I put out our supplies mornings and evenings... I am wondering now if this cycle is a total bust or if there is still a chance for me to ovulate? I pray that I will be back to normal soon...

@dragon: Glad you finally get to see an OB, although I am confused because OBs are not necessarily fertility specialists and I feel the latter is really the one you need... Well, good luck, I hope you get your chlomid and that it will do the trick!!

@gray: 14 weeks, awesome... Looks like you're out of the woods now that you started the 2nd TM.

@jenny: Don't put off TTC for too long - the younger you are, the better your chances!!!
