Hi ladies! A few of us who supported eachother in the tww leading up to Sept 5 wanted to continue the encouragement and support we felt at the end of Aug - beginning of Sept.

A few of us got a BFP (yay!) and a few of us are gearing up for POAS again (OPKs). Check in regularly so we can all celebrate the joys and support each other through the harder times.

Oh Jenny, did the dreaded witch get into your door?? Oh man, hopefully not!!!! I have seen loads of charts on which the temp dipped before spiking up again though!

AFM: I had my transfer today, but I am feeling rather bummed out. I know this is a bit too early to be that pessimistic, but I just am...

I had started my cycle off well - 8 follies on the u/s - I was cautiously optimistic. On retrieval day, which was last Friday, they got 7 eggs, but saw that one was an empty shell... Still left us with a good 6. We decided on ICSI again as my RE felt that our chances would be better. They called the next day and my hopes for a better transfer were dashed... They had only one good fertilized egg and I am not sure if it had a particularly high grade.

Transfer was today and I feel kind of defeated. Of course, there is still hope, but I feel kinda sad. I know this is stupid, but I guess my hopes were just too high initially, that this would work out somehow. Now I realize that there are worlds between 39 and 42.5 and my eggs seem just too old now...

I will check in again and let you know how things went.

Jen... don't give up. Maybe just take the holidays to regroup and consider a drug cycle, really.

xoxo

Oh TC - just remember it only takes one egg to stick! Hope this is the golden one! xo

Thanks for the hope, but the Progesterone has left the building! LOL AF showed late this morning just as I expected. Physically I feel so much better (I realize how much I suffer from PMS moods and fatigue once I'm out of it and the estrogen soars again!). Emotionally and mentally I am all over the place. I am sad to be letting go a little bit (at least for a little while) and will try to not think about babies for a few months. I am also excited though to reinvent myself during this time. I'm excited to get working out again HARD. And I'm excited to maybe get out and date again. I haven't dated in a very very long time (since I made this single mom by choice decision over a year ago can you believe it?!). I'm not sure how I will do on a date. I feel shy and awkward already just thinking about it! Slimming down will help with that confidence I'm sure though. So, i'll start shaping up in the next 6 weeks or so and then near the end of January really get out there to date. Sounds like a plan. *breathe* LOL

oh man ladies, let's not get so down! i know it's been a long time, but think back to how positive everyone was just a few short months ago. it seems like a long time, but that's just because we all want it so much. what's a few months in the long run? it's hard, but the best thing we an do is stay optimistic and just try to be good people while trying. a couple of you have mentioned taking breaks - do it if you need to! rest up and come back better than ever! lord knows i've been through my ups and downs, but the longer this takes, the more i'm realizing that i can't let this define my moods on a daily basis. it will just drive me crazy!

we've got an appointment with a recurrent losses clinic in january. since we'll probably miss this month trying, i'll likely be sans BFP when we go. it's a little depressing to get their letter where they basically cover their asses by saying '60-75% of all pregnancy losses are for unknown reasons'. and it sucked to read that according to them, only 5% of women experience two consecutive losses. but at the same time, it made me more determined than ever to keep trying. sure, i'm one of the 5%, but it doesn't mean it's impossible! there's always a chance and until given reason to think otherwise, we'll just keep on keeping on and try to be happy about the extra time we have together, just the two of us.

and any months that don't work out are months that i can try to stay healthy and get more work done so i'm in a good position for when it does happen. because ladies, it *will* happen!

stay strong, try to do stuff that relaxes you, and just keep on being awesome.

So...how is everyone doing?

I'm still waiting to ovulate. It's...frustrating. It's day 23.

I'm thinking of you all. I'm so sorry Jenny, I was so hoping for you!

I'm off to bed. To maybe ovulate. Or something...

Hi there ladies... I am also still out there. It's now 7 days post a 3-day transfer and I am torn whether I should POAS tomorrow. This would be 8dp3dt, which is like 11 dpo. I know this is kinda early and I am scared of a BFN. On the other hand, I also would just like to get it over with. Still - either way, I will probably not get closure if there is no line. Because, sometimes it just takes a couple more days... Sigh. I am so dreading another BFN...

Elizabeth... how are you? Have you seen the fertility specialist yet?

Jenny... have you gone in hibernation or are you already dating you little butt off? ;-)

Dragonflymama... have you found a doctor to get you some clomid?

Hugs to all of you!!

Hey all... well this cycle for me has turned into a crazy month. I don't want to get my hopes up, nor am I giving up, but I won't be surprised if it lessened my chances at conceiving.

I got tonsilitus 6 days before ovulation. I was told the meds wouldn't hurt conception etc, so no biggie. The day my meds are done, great... i go shopping and end up buying a pre cooked chicken pot pie, and i get food poisoning! Omg is was horrid... way TMI to even tell you how bad. But if you've you had food poisoning before, I am sure you can figure it out, lol.

I am finally able to eat again today, though feeling somewhat lightheaded, headache, backache, etc. The backache I think is the progesterone kicking in... I had the lower back pain for a whole week last cycle, and a headache too... but with me being sick since Tuesday night, it is really hard to say. So, I am going to play the pessimistic route and pretend it has nothing to do with it, ha... less stressful and perhaps next weekend I will have a positive for xmas if I don't think about constantly. I am truthfully less stressed than I was the first cycle, I am still thinking about it, but not every minute that I am awake either. Usually when I get up I think about it, then I try to dive into work and things for the holidays to keep myself busy. I am 4 dpo and the last 3 days have gone by faster than I thought they would. Another 8 days to wait, hehe.

Okay, so I'm 8DPO and very anxious to start poas! Four days ago my son, who every night in his prayers says, "please put a baby in Mommy's belly" came to me, took my hand, looked into my eyes and said, "God put a baby in your belly, Mom." It gave me chills. He was so serious, and he's never serious! Anyway, it would be super-cool if he's right. Plus..baby! :)

All I want for Christmas...

Dragonfly have you poas yet? That would be sooooo cool if you were pg and your son predicted it! They do say that children are more psychic because they are closer to Heaven. As we grow, we "forget". I've got chills!

Weight loss for me is going alright. Slow and steady (but healthy). I'm waiting until after xmas to see about joining e.harmoney for a month and see what happens. I've heard many personal stories of success from there. I think part of it is that you have to pay for it so automatically the losers are half weeded out! LOL

TC and E, how are you doing? Please update! I'm watching almost daily and have my fx so tight! Love to all! xo
