@bammon - I would think the nurse would let you, but you could ask for recommendations in your area and call the offices and ask what their policy is on labs. IDK why they would have a problem with it though- as you said, it's not like you need an appointment (if it's like mine). However, I will say there is a benefit to waiting a few days to have labs drawn. Right now your numbers would be really low, and they would probably tell you they are really low, which might not be encouraging to you. Giving it over the weekend will help them cook a little more....

Happy Friday, everyone. TGIF!!!!!

@Bammom, yaaaaaay! Congrats girl! I'm so happy you were able to conceive again so quickly. Major sticky vibes!

@while, good luck with your results!

@jgroves, journal away! I'm sorry your DH is going to be gone for the beginning of your pregnancy, that stinks! I went through a deployment with my hubby back in 2008-2009, and I promise time just flew by. It'll be over before you know it, and then your DH will be home just in time for baby jgroves

@penny, good luck with the tww! I'm 4dpo today, and I feel like testing is SO FAR off! Ugh!

@1st, @kotikd, yay for ovulation!!

@gvmdl, I know what you mean about getting obsessed with this process. FX'd for peace of mind!

AFM, 4dpo, ate pineapple last night, and then my throat and tongue were all itchy. DH thinks I'm allergic and told me I shouldn't eat any more .

While- You are totally right. And just to prove it I just read someone's journal where she had her labs drawn on the first day of positive hpt's and they were pretty negative about her levels being only 6.5 and used the word "chemical" even though its only 11dpo and her very first positive test. I would rather avoid that if I could. I don't need any doctors or nurses being fun sponges right now

Wifey-Thank you! I am in shock at the pineapple thing. Do you have other food allergies? You can buy bromelain supplements instead of eating the pineapple. I would check that out.

Well, my beta went from 44 to 52. Dismal. They said something isn't right with the pregnancy but they don't know what it is. They are going to have me redraw on Wednesday.

While - I continue to pray for you. So sorry. Remember you are not alone. I've been there, dear.

jgroves - having your dh gone for the first part of your pregnancy must totally stink. I have no idea how military families do it...I have great admiration for you. Let us know when he gets sent out, and I'll lift you up in prayers specifically. (The same goes for any other military wife we have on here.)

wifey - sorry to hear you're allergic to pineapple, but at least you only got an itchy reaction. Be careful - next time your throat might start to swell.

bammom - why in the world would they not let you try for vbac? Did that office just not believe in it? I had a vbac with my 2nd, and when I was pregnant with Elijah this spring, my OB told me she'd let me try vbac again. Although, maybe because my kids are so far apart that was why she was willing.

Rebecca- most offices around here will not let you try. The new practice is all the way in downtown Houston, but they are one of very few places that allow you to try for vbac. It's about a 45 minute drive for me assuming traffic isn't terrible (ya right!) but totally worth it to have my baby the way I want to. Where do you live? State laws play a big roll in it I think.

@Bammom: What does vbac stand for? Sorry, just curious :)

@while: I am sorry sweetie. I am hoping that somehow things work out and that the pregnancy is viable. Hugsssssss

AFM: only have a second here at work. Got the results from the SA back finally.

Morphology: OK normal

Volume/Count: OK normal

Motility: at 34%. Doc said he likes to see 40% and above, so it was just below "normal". However, I am reading online that optimal Motility is above 50%?????? Do any of your DHs have low motility? If so, what are the numbers your doc considered "low"?

My questions:

Does preseed help with motility??

What else increases motility?

Hope DH takes this OK, texted him but he never replies at work lol
