Rockermama and Goingforit85-My doctor did not call today. I will call them tomorrow morning and see what's her take on the situation. Everytime I have had the scan I have been giv'in the same results. My doctor just acts like its fine and I'll get them the next month. Granted I have been pregnant twice but in both cases the pregnancy ended. If I have an egg maturity issue, I want to know. I guess tomorrow I am going to have to be a little more pushy. Me and my husband will be going on 2 years of trying. Both of us are 30, we are not gettign any younger. Sometimes I wish my doctors office cared like you ladies do. Is that so much to ask for? I just wonder if there are other doctors that actually want to see joy in helping someone get pregnant and seeing an wonderful outcome. I was feeling no love today when I waited an hour for my ultrasound. Just frustrated!!!!!! On top of that tewo pregnant 15 year olds sat right beside of me saying there mother was going to kill them for being knocked up! REALLY! They did it once and that's all it took! Boo them!

Rockermama- Don't start using the OPKs until after you have taken your doses of Clomid. Sometimes the Clomid can make your hormones a little wonky and show a false positive. I took Clomid on CD 5-9 and started the OPKs at CD 10.

MrsFlasche- Aww, puppy! Post a picture when you get her!

Gunzzz that is so annoying that the doctor did not call.

Hopefulll I am glad that you are still here, Clomid or not. I feel invested in your story now and have to know the ending!

AFM CD 6, first cycle post m/c. Doctor said to prevent this month. I wanted to try anyway, but DH wanted to follow the doctor's orders. So we are using gross condoms this month (they are the worst!). Also, I'm using OPKs to know when I ovulate. I'm having blood drawn on 8 DPO to test progesterone levels.
So, no chance for me this month. I'm so depressed because that means I don't have a chance at seeing a BFP before Christmas... I will be around all of my siblings and their kids this year. It's going to be hard. My DH and I decided that we are going to the movies on Christmas morning just us two in order to distract us from the baby-centered holiday morning. We're going to see Les Miserables, so I'm excited.

gunzzz, how frustrating! Do you see a regular ob/gyn or a specialist?

I did not like my previous Drs. At all. Like it took a LONG time to find ones I like. And, though the timing actually WAS better that it took so long to get pregnant, I am still mad that I was so mislead. Especially when I think of how hard it was, month after month. We moved back to my hometown in NY, I started back with my old Dr, and was thrilled. And the R.E. that I saw last time was very good, but I like this Dr a bit better.

Felurian, I was wondering about that. The instructions said it wouldn't, though. My clomid is cd 3-12, so a little longer to wait. Hmmm.

We are planning on being active, so I am not worried about missing ovulation. But I am just so anxious to know if I am going to ovulate or not.

Doesn't it seem like we should have evolved past all this by now? Like our "love tunnels" should glow green for ovulating, yellow for nothing, and red when af is on the way. And it should not take us a whole month+ to find out. TTC is a whole lot of hurry up and wait!

Haha, Rockermama, I love that idea! If only our bodies had a way to tell us what was going on. I hate the waiting, too. All of the waiting is the worst part of infertility (except perhaps maybe the $$$ part).
Maybe the Clomid wouldn't make the OPKs work wrong for you. I just know that my doc told me not to use it until after I had finished my doses. I would be interested to know what your OPKs show if you do start them earlier.

Ugh, the money sucks, but in the end it is all worth it. I just want to hurry to the end, lol.

MrsFlasche - good luck with the family! May you have a stress free dinner! A puppy, how awesome!

Goingforit - My period when on clomid is shorter and lighter. I'm normally really heavy and last at least 7 days, on clomid I get one maybe two heavy days and it lasts for about 5 days.

Kmison - I've never had a polyp, but I did have surgery in May for endo. They will probably (my best guess anyway) do it laproscopically, where they'll go in thru your bellybutton. They will most likely put you under. the recovery time may be around two weeks. That's all based on what my experience with laproscopic surgery was ( I had 2) If you have any questions about surgery feel free to ask.

hopefull - my temps post o have been freakishly regular. 3 98.5, 2 98.6 and 2 98.4 (those weren't in a row, just repeats) And please hang around and keep us posted!

gunzz - I don't know that I would have been able to sit there with those girls and not have said something that I would have most likely regretted after it came out of my mouth...

Rockermama - My re has me start opks on cd11. Not sure what will work for you with being on clomid for longer.

felurian - hang in there! There's nothing wrong with taking a step back. Maybe if being around the kids gets too overwhelming say you aren't feeling well and head home. There's nothing wrong with taking care of yourself first! Good luck!!

I see a regular OB. As they have said previously my time has not ended. I guess they want me to wait the six months if Clomid. Not really sure. I wil def ask all these questions tomorrow. I'm just glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. Im considering after the new year changing to a specialist. I get all bent out of sort with male doctors and it seems harder to find a women specialist in my area. I will update everyone tomorrow on what my doctor says.

Yes, I was biting my lips when I saw those two girls and hearing their stories. They have no idea how much it takes to support a child. One girl said her boyfriend made $600 a month. Everyone on this sight knows you can live off of that each month. They have so much to learn!!!

My ob is a dude. He is awesome, MUCH betterr than female drs I have seen. I hope you have better luck.

Is there a specific reason why you are on clomid? Like I have pcos, so that makes me able to see a specialist right away.
