Can anyone explain this cycle?

My periods are fairly regular and range from 29-31 in cycle length and 5 days of flow. My last period started July 9th and went to the 13th, so I should have gotten by next period around the 6-10th of August. I ended being extremely late with tests all negative, 8 days later I got my period on the 16th and now it has already ended on the 18th. The flow was extremely light however it was dark and fresh in color. I have no idea what's going on here.
