New pregnancy or?…

I had a D&C on 12th May after MC at 6.5 weeks (retained products). We were told we could start ttc as soon as the bleeding stopped which we have been doing since 19th May. My last hcg levels were checked on 27th May and were at 8 so my question is, is this a new pregnancy or are frers that good and it’s picking up the tiniest bit of leftover hcg? Please help
