Testing LH up to AF of a BFP?

Hi ladies! I got my peak on CD23 as observed
but then i got another positive ovulation test at
5 DPO. i don't usually use OPKs everyday after i
ovulate but this cycle has been really weird with
ovulating so late & my cycle being longer. since
then my OPKs have still been somewhat dark
but not positive.
i do normally get a surge before AF but my
surges really only last a few hours? i fully
expected my period to come at 5 DPO since my
period was considered "late" by that cycle day.
anyways, i guess i just want to know if anyone
else has tested LH leading up to AF or a BFP?
