TTC #2 again

On august 11th i took my last birth control pill after taking them for a year. We had been TTCing for over 2½ years without anything happening and decided to take a break for a year, mostly because I only had a year left of my studies. And that year has passed and we are officially TTCing again. I was expecting to start spotting or that AF would show up shortly after taking the last pill, since that's how my body reacted when I had me IUD (Mirena) removed when we started TTCing #2 the first round. But it seems like my body had other plans this time. A few days ago I started having some light cramps, like I do before AF shows. So I thought she were on her way. But then it went from light cramps to my regular OV-pain and I had a ton of ewcm. The pain stopped today, so I'm counting this as 1 dpo. It remains to be seen wether I actually ovulated or not. But hopefully it means my body will be back on track. And more hopefully, it won't take too long before I get my BFP.

No idea where exactly I am in my cycle at the moment. Decided not to count CD this time. But period ended just a few days ago. Did some blood work last tuesday that the endocrinologist ordered. I have been feeling like crap for the past few months now and even the slightest thing, like taking a shower, feels like climbing mount everest. It has been so darn frustrating since I really want to be able to do stuff but don't have the energy at all. Well, I checked the test results a few days ago and it's no surprise that I feel like I do. My TSH are the highest ever, at a 3,9. It went up from 2,8 since the last check in june.. It's still "within reference", but only slightly (reference are 0,27-4,2). My T4 are still at the lower end, but actually higher than I ever had too, at 13 (reference 12-22). My T3 are slowly decreasing, from 4,4 in june to 4,1 now. But the biggest change is my TPO antibodies. In june they were at 20 which were considered borderline, 25 and over are considered positive. My current TPO are 410.. So in only four months it has gone from 20 to 410. This time I won't settle for his usual speach about being within the reference levels and that we do another check in a few months! I want treatment and a proper diagnosis! He has been treating this as just a simple thyroiditis since my TPO did slowly decrease from 190 in september 2019. But since it's increasing this much again I don't think it is. My other levels are also pointing to a different diagnosis - Hashimoto's. I have an appointment over the phone with him tomorrow, so it'll be interesting to see what he has to say..

Well, as usual he didn't want to do anything than wait another 3 or so months and redo the blood work. And as usual he has no interest in my health and are pretty rude. He told me my levels were "within reference", even though they barely are.. He said my TPO were high and he didn't really know why and said something about autoimmune and Quervains (which isn't autoimmune). I responded and said that this might explain why I've been feeling like crap for the past few months. He quickly interrupted me, without even asking what my symptoms are, and said that it most definitely did not explain why I feel like crap because high TPO couldn't give any symptoms at all. TSH didn't matter either according to him and the only thing that matters are T4 and T3, which last time were below reference and he said "it's ALMOST within reference". So no treatment and new blood work in a few months were his answer. So the first thing I did was to call my regular GP. I don't see any use in beeing monitored by a rude specialist who has no interest in my health, only those damn reference levels. I'll probably have better luck with a regular GP, which is kind of sad.

Hey. Sorry the doctor's appointmrment didn't go well as you hoped. I hope you find a GP that is more caring towards your health rather than the reports and results. As for me, hubby and I dtd twice roughly 4- days before ovulation and had high hopes. Then, I went through the last week and a bit after ovulation with bloating every day, and other minor symptoms just to wake up this morning to the witch; who just so happens to show up two days early. On to the next cycle.

Yeah, I really hope so too. If I don't have any luck with the doctor I'm seeing on thursday, I'll call and make an appointment with my favourite doctor who will be coming back again in a few weeks. With him I can definitely discuss things and he's not impossible to try medicate. Sorry af got you, that sucks. Hope you have better luck next cycle.

Even though we haven't had any luck yet, at least I have something to look forward too since my brother and his girlfriend are expecting. They did an ultrasound a few days ago and got to see the little one. She's only 13wks so far. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited about this since it's the first little cousin on my side, all other cousins (3 so far and 1 on the way) are on my husbands side. So there will soon be a little one I can spoil!

Well, yesterdays doctor's appointment didn't went exactly as I would have hoped. She thought about putting me on a low dosage of levothyroxine since my T4 are so low, but she wanted me to do an ecg and take my blood pressure. I have white coat syndrome and always get high blood pressure and pulse when at a hospital, and low blood pressure/pulse at home. Unfortunately no dr has written it in my medical record yet. So when my blood pressure and pulse were high yesterday she didn't want to put me on any levothyroxine, even though I explained several times that I ALWAYS have high blood pressure at the drs. So, she wanted me to do some blood work to check for any deficiencys just in case and will phone me later. I haven't been to the lab yet to do the blood work, but will do on monday. I'm thinking of making an appointment with my favourite doctor in a week or so and ask him to take my blood pressure. He's the only doctor EVER that for some reasin doesn't trigger my white coat syndrome, so I should be able to get a more accurate level then.

As fas as NTNP, I'm expecting AF in approx in 9-10 days. I've decided not to test at all this cycle. With my levels being this out of line I have a really hard time believing I'll suddenly fall pregnant.
