#6?!

I'm here for the moment to vent a bit. I have two boys from my first marriage, a bonus son and two daughters with my husband. We tried for our first daughter, everything was so exciting with her, it was both of our first planned pregnancy. She was born at 29+1 due to insane stress, and you wouldn't even be able to tell, she's big and so smart! She's learned everything on time for her birthday. When she was 10 months old, we found out we were expecting again, it was a shocker! I was still nursing her and had just gone back on the pill, but she's a great big sister to baby girl. The baby was born on time 3/5/20 and while I haven't had my first cycle, I'm 98% sure I *O* at the beginning of this month, I've been waiting for AF, all the symptoms, even spotting for 2 days, but only when I wipe. It's got me thinking that we should have waited a bit longer to have sex.. I hate myself for even thinking this, but I was done having kids when we had our first daughter, I absolutely adore our baby girl, I'm glad she's here, but I'm so so scared to have anymore, for health reasons. I don't even know what we would do if this test is positive. I'm waiting until Thursday or Friday, so I've given it enough time. Due to Covid-19, my husband had to wait longer to have a vasectomy, and I absolutely would have gotten my tubes tied, but the out of pocket cost was insane and his was $25. They also gave me a really hard time about it and all he had to do was say he wanted it done and that he has 5 kids, but I don't need to start on that crap. I think I just needed to put my thoughts out there. I don't want him to be thinking about it so I've not said much other than I think my period is trying to start back, and I really hope it is. If you read all of this, thanks for listening ????

If you're TTA for serious health reasons, you'd be wise to become familiar with fertility awareness / nfp. Your own hormones can override artificial birth control sometimes, so it's safest to make sure you're reading your body's signs accurately too! I use a tempdrop wearable bbt thermometer that tracks my temp while I sleep, and it makes it so easy. I knew before I ovulated the first time postpartum thanks to tracking! Whatever ends up happening, try not to stress about it. If God blessed you with a surprise baby, He will provide! Doesn't mean that it will be easy, but you can do it. Hope that everything works out the way you want it to !

Thank you! I do normally track, but BG is still only 3 months old and while nursing, I've never gotten AF back this soon. It was stupid of me to solely rely on ebf for birth control, even though it worked for years before. Chemical birth control hasn't ever worked on its own in my case. Time will tell and it really could be my health issues with the spotting. Thanks again!
