@kahlan what a gorgeous ultrasound pic! Hopefully your spotting stops soon, that must be so unnerving. Prayers! I'm on progesterone too because of my history, and I had started cramping. I got an injection of it from my doc yesterday which he said should be good for 3 days, and then I'll have bloodwork done on the third day and start progesterone pessaries every night. I absolutely love this fertility doctor, he is just so thorough and really cares!

@E. Of course you can join. I changed the title to February/March. Congrats and I'm so happy for you. I hope this is a smooth pregnancy for you. How are you feeling otherwise?

Hello ladies. Sorry I’ve gone MIA. Work has been so busy and I’ve been so exhausted it’s unbelievable so I ended up taking a week off. Plus I’ve hurt my foot and it’s all swollen up!

I am glad all of u ladies are doing good.
@kahlan that’s a beautiful scan picture.
@massey congrats and welcome to the group

Thanks for letting me join guys! I'm getting my second beta results over the phone from my doctor tonight. Nervous! I'm having encouraging symptoms though, like nausea starting up and full on hit by a truck fatigue. Both of these things could be being exaggerated by the fact that I'm on progesterone, but still it's oddly comforting to be feeling worse with each passing day. In other news, I hurt my back lifting a heavy cooler (before I got my bfp) at a bbq on Saturday, and my poor lower back is just NOT happy. In fact it's actually miserable!

@E. Oh no, that's horrible. I hope your back gets better soon. I also hope that you get really good news from the doctor tonight. I've been feeling really exhausted and worn out.

AFM. I had a little anxiety attack yesterday. It's been pretty stormy here the last couple of days and i lifted a tube (similar to behind the boat) and put it on the sandbox to cover it up. Also did a few other things. A few minutes later I was having some undescribable pain in my lower abdomen, sides, and in my back. I just have this huge fear of having a miscarriage and it scares the (sorry) shit out of me. Even though it is normal but the excessive cm bugs me too. I did some reading today and it got me looking up: round ligament pain. Can someone describe the feeling? I just have to get through the next couple weeks as the risk drops significantly. Plus, I read that hearing a strong heartbeat drops the risk is lower. Other than that, I am feeling okay with breast and nipple tenderness. Just needing some reassurance.

@dragonfly round ligament pain is AWFUL. It's like a terrible stitch and used to happen to me if I would move too quickly or change position. The pain you are describing sounds more like muscle and ligaments than anything mc related. You can help guard your core and avoid strains when lifting by mindfully engaging your abs drawing your belly button in and up. Hope yoy are feeling better!

As for me: my first beta at 4 weeks was 160 - slightly under average. Second beta from 4w3d was 580, which he said was slightly above average!

More blood tests tomorrow, and then progesterone testing fortnightly throughout my first trimester. I'll also be having a scan at 7 weeks and will hopefully get to see baby's heartbeat!

@E. Thank you for that. It makes me feel a lot better. I am waiting patiently for when I finally get to feel my baby move. I remember when I used to cough and sneeze and have pain; which I read that it is round ligament. I'm happy that your numbers are really good and that you will get to see your baby in a matter of a few weeks. Keep us posted.

Good evening ladies. I hope everyone is doing well. I got the worst news this morning just as I was leaving to go to work. As far as I know, my baby is doing well and have my nuchal scan next Thursday, which I hoped it was this week but I have to be patient as it will be here before I know it. Been feeling flutters a bit so hope that's the baby letting me know he or she is okay and getting confortable. My girlfriend who's two weeks behind me; lost the baby last night. She is in the hospital to get a D & C done as she was bleeding lots. My heart breaks for her as we would of had our babies so close together. She had way too many problems right from the start but hoped for the best. They did the ultrasound and the baby was gone.

Oh @dragonfly, I am so so sorry for your friend! That's just so so sad and traumatic for her. I'll keep her in prayer!

Afm: my back is better, thank goodness! Symptom wise I am having intermittent nausea, and constant bloating that makes me look at least 5 months pregnant! I also had to go out and buy new bras as my old ones just weren't fitting properly because my chest is inflating at an alarming rate. A few days later - not even a whole week - and already the new bras are getting snug too and I'm almost spilling out of them! The aching comes and goes but they always feel bruises and almost a little itchy, and today I've been having bee atingg like pain in one of them that feels very familiar. New prenatals arrived and I started them today, so far so good!

@E. Thank you. I appreciate that. I know what you mean about bloatedness. I'm 11 weeks and I look huge. My breasts aren't to badly sore, just on the sides and sometimes the nipples ache. Might have to get bigger bras again. Too bad you couldn't take them back lol.
