insemination question

I have a question for you ladies.. does anyone have experience with using a menstrual cup after inseminating? I inserted mine last night after inseminating and I took it out this morning before I showered for work.. This is TMI but I noticed after taking it out I had A LOT of liquid coming out of me... i'm nervous that it was my donor's sperm coming back out or was it my egg white cervical mucous...? It was hard to tell the difference bc it wasn't really clear. How long does is take for the sperm to travel into the uterus through the cervix? I left the syringe in for about 5 minutes and then inserted the cup. Has anyone else encountered this and still gotten pregnant?
