Bad frers?

I've been seeing a lot of people saying the current batch of frer tests are no good, not giving accurate results, etc.
What brand would you suggest? I got a BFP at approx 10dpo and I can't get more than a shadow on anything since then. I haven't used anything but Walmart, dollar store, and internet cheapies though.
What should I test with?

I would say go get bloodwork done, or maybe try a digi? I got a bfp back when I had my chemical on a clear blue digital, so they are pretty sensitive. My beta hcg was only 13.
