Question

Infertility

So saw my ob today been trying to get pregnant for over a year. My 21 day progesterone came back low so apparently I did not ovulate. Now all this bloodwork is being ran and she suggest I see a fertility specialist due to my age will be 40 in August. Has anyone else been through this? I still have normal period with the exception of right now I am late but all test are negative. She even mentioned early menopause I’m freaking please help!!!!

Low progesterone could be a really easy fix! Progesterone cream can work wonders. Vitex can also help, but it rakes a few months to take effect. I had all the symptoms of perimenopause at age 26 after my hormones went haywire after I had my son! I started seeing a naturopath and now a little more than a year later I feel like myself again. Gut healing, finding out that I have MTHFR C677T, nourishing my adrenals, eating a healthy balanced diet, and taking vitex have all helped me enormously. My progesterone (though not ever checked with testing) must be doing better, because my basal body temperature is more stable and my luteal phase which had been pretty short (a symptom of low progesterone) has lengthened to a healthy 14 days, and I have no more hot flashes or other symptoms of low progesterone and perimenopause. Best of luck to you riddling out your hormones! It's tricky but it can be done!
