Mine were short at first....first cycle this last baby was like 8 days and same thing happened the time before as well. I conceived 2nd cycle this time which makes me wonder if that contributed to my MC i didn’t have AF between MC and this time but hormones are kicking. PP time before last baby first cycle was 7 day luteal, then 9, then up again. Hopefully yours gets on track quick

After my first I used opk’s Before I ever got my first post part in period. My timing was great for the first egg, but luteal phase was only 8 days. Caught the next egg though and had my second daughter!

Dana- I have a 3 (on Friday) & 4 year old. We are trying for #3 as well. My husband is t motivated to really ‘try’ and is fine with just the two, but says he will be happy if we have another, too. I desperately want at least 1 more, maybe 2. If we don’t conceive this cycle- I’m planning to relax a bit until spring, then start actively trying again. (Winter birthdays around here are kinda a bummer). Hoping this will be our month and we can have an October baby! Good luck to you! I hope this is your month!

@Kahlan+NatsMomma - Thank you for the luck and for sharing your OPKs. Seeing someones elses ups and downs is helpful and encouraging that I'll get there too. If we caught the first egg I would be shocked and over the moon!

Kaybee & Flamingogirl- it is so frustrating! I totally understand- but the multiple surges are my norm- usually the third is my charm, but sometimes 4or 5.
I really hope yours come soon and you both catch the egg!!

I got pregnant twice while breastfeeding and NO cycles.....so I would say just go for it!! Don’t stress to much over it, you can still ovulate without a cycle while breastfeeding. Good luck!!!

I finally got my peak on day 16 and I'm 3dpo if It's correct. AF is due ON my hubby's bday. Please be my month!
