Possible contractions?

Hi ladies, I am 16 weeks pregnant and having severe back and lower stomach (pelvic pain) is this preterm labour or is this normal in pregnancy?

labor pains occur in regular time intervals (ex. Every 8min), consistently get stronger and closer together, and won’t go away if you change position/take a walk/take a bath/ etc.

If pains are irregular and not getting stronger they could be Braxton Hicks. Braxton Hicks usually start in 2nd trimester.

If you think it’s labor pains seek out medical care immediately!

You’re always best to get checked if your worried. Is your tummy going rock hard and tightening up at regular intervals. That’s what happens in labour xxx
