Short Period or Implantation?

I’ve been TTC for a couple years now. This month I had the shortest period I’ve ever had-4 days. And it was also the lightest. However, I don’t think it could be implantation because I still bled a good amount and it was dark red. Anyone ever experience implantation bleeding like this? Or was it in fact, just my period?
