Question about clomid

Hi good morning I have a question about clomid my doctor told me to take from clycle day 3 to cycle day 7 I only on clycle day 6 whit my fourth pill today tomorrow is gunna be my last dos of clomid fro this cycle . Does it matter if period finish a day earlier do I still keep it even if I not bleeding

I had my first clomid cycle this month too I was told to take from 3 til 7 then doc told me start on 5 because I wasnt sure if meds were causing spotting or it was my cycle ...so on the 4th day I started being it was my cycle
