How to change cycle length after overriding ovulation date?

OK so I overrode my ovulation date and I'm on a 30 day cycle but when I overrode the ovulation date it put me on a 25 day cycle so my question is how so u change that after u override a ovulation date cuz it say I got three days till AF n I really have like eight left

I'm having the opposite problem. After recording my last pregnancy, it takes the average to predict the length of your cycles - so now it's telling me I'll ovulate sometime next January lol
