Chemical pregnancy and bleeding

Hi, I had 2x positive FRER tests earlier this week.

At 16dpo i started getting strong period cramps in abdomen and lower back. I then started bleeding very light pink, which eventually got darker to a deep red with seed like clots and heavier, but not as heavy as AF (Aunt Flo - menstruation/period) (sorry if TMI)

My bleeding only lasted for 1 day and was only there when I wiped. 

I am pretty sure it was a chemical pregnancy as I had an early miscarriage in feb which was similar but this was alot heavier and lasted a week. 

Is it normal for bleeding with a chemical to only last 1 day? Im so confused because its just stopped suddenly.
