Progesterone after ovulation

Had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago. All fine on scan last thurs, sonographer said only a little blood left no tissue. Should bleed a tiny bit brown (which I did for next 3 days) then I ovulated Sunday. I felt the pain in the left side where the sonographer said I had a 2cm follicle and got a positive ovulation test. Negative hpt. Started progesterone suppositories after ovulation as suggested by a specialist that this could be better than after a positive hpt (ive had no period since the miscarriage as I’ve tried to conceive straight away, we did the deed same day I ovulated) Now Im bleeding bright red blood 3dpo. What’s going on???
