Oh good to know! Is there something better out there?

I don’t know tbh, we didn’t use anything or do anything different apart from planning to move house

Lol Emma! 2 out of my 3 were a surprise and the 3rd took one month of only having sex once in that month! That was with a different partner and 5 years ago though. I'm 37 now and "geriatric" in the medical world. I assume it might take some more help this time!

@Jessica I’m 37 too and I know what you mean although it did take a while for our first too (8 months I think) but #2 came on the first try. I’m sorry AF came. Some of those tests really looked positive. Could have been a chemical though. In any case I really don’t like FREER anymore. There is always a very faint line on them so unless it is very obvious I consider them negative (I actually don’t really use them any more)
@Lalou Your strength is inspiring! I was reading something referencing a study that shows that even a 2 to 7% weight loss can improve chances of conception in women with PCOS by 50%. It sounds like diet can do a lot to manage the condition. I wish you the best of luck on all fronts: studies, move, baby!

Hi ladies. Pretty sure i will be O'ing today after HCG trigger shot yesterday. On CD13 (yesterday) I had one mature follicle at 20mm on my left side and a lining thickness of 8.3mm so they instructed me to take the trigger. I hope to be entering the TWW tomorrow! I will be using progesterone suppositories during this TWW and i've also recently started taking metformin.

So did another equate for SMU...a different box than 7 & 8 dpo and got a faint line again within 4 min. Pinks are still showing negative. Hoping still super early at 9dpo. Ttc when 41 can be so confusing at times. Ugh

Jessica sorry to hear started af

Lissa sounds good about trigger shot and everything. Progesterone suppositories aren't too bad. I started them on 1 or 2dpo. Didn't do my metformin this cycle though was just upsetting stomach too much. Was on 2250 mg.

@Crams i hope your lines start to get darker soon!! I'm 41 too with mild PCOS but my AMH is pretty high so they don't think my fertility is "falling off a cliff." I just started metformin only 500mg this week then i increase by 500 each week until i can tolerate 1500mg. Your dose sounds very high. The doctor told me to start the suppositories on Wednesday. I really hope i O today so i can get started on the TWW.

Lissa yeah I know when I was bumped from 1500 mg to 2250 mg started getting more stomach upset and digestive issues I stopped taking them last cycle and haven't had the nerve up to start again. At least the vaginal progesterone suppositories aren't causing any issues other than discharge.

When we got pregnant with our 20 Mo old our obgyn just had me on 1500mg metformin.

Thank you @agatch. I have read the same studies as well. That is why I am trying really hard. Best wishes to you as well.
@Jessica that seriously sucks. I was very sure of those tests as well. Can t trust anything anymore.
@Pandorica hopefully you will O soon and that your husband will feel better soon too.
