Question

Nauseous upper stomach - early preg symptom?

Hi everyone
This morning I have had this really nauseous feeling in the upper regions of my stomach and I just was wondering if anyone has had this as an early pregnancy symptom?
I am not normally a nauseous person so this is unusual for me. Would love to know your thoughts :)
Thanks heaps! xx

Hi there! To be honest it could be either way. It could be something you ate, it could be your progesterone which is rising on the second half of your cycle which among others it can cause nausea and it could be a pregnancy symptom but I believe you should be kinda late to have this kind of symptom. It all depends in what phase of your cycle you are. Are you late on your period? If so, a hpt will give you the answer!

Nausea usually isn't seen until around 5-6 weeks of pregnancy due to the change in hormones, so I personally discount any nausea as a pregnancy symptom unless you've already got a positive on a test.
