Finally seeing fertility specialist

4/17/19: Af came first thing in the morning. Called Preg specialist to get bloodwork done. Appointment tomorrow. Went for regular check up at OB and no advice other than to see fertility specialist. Was hoping to get clomid there so I could cancel my appt.

4/18/19: Saw fertility specialist to get bloodwork done and ultrasound. Bloodwork won’t be back for a week. We almost got fertility meds, but I had a cyst on my left ovary from ovulation last cycle. They said the hormones from meds could interfere with implantation. On the plus side, everything else looked great. Plenty of eggs and a healthy uterus. Scheduled a follow up with doc to get results in 5/2. Will need another ultrasound to know the cyst isn’t getting bigger and we get to have a plan in place for when my next af starts. Not confident about this cycle at all.

4/29/19: CD 13 and opks looking pretty light compared to yesterday. I’m assuming ovulation will be from my right side because of all the pain I’ve had on that side earlier in my cycle. Last opk for the night still negative. Hoping it will be positive sometime tomorrow. Less confident about this cycle considering my tube is blocked on the side I’m pretty sure I’ll be ovulation on.

5/1/19: Looks like it will be awhile before I ovulate. My tests have been off and on almost positive. This happened 2 cycles ago. So frustrating. I swore it was the soy isoflavones that cycle. I think it was just not using dong quai because I haven’t used it this cycle...welp got my positive opk this afternoon and darkest by 5:30pm. Lots of pain on both sides so maybe still a chance. Will bd tomorrow.

5/2/19: My follow up went great. All of my bloodwork cane back fine and doc had us set up with a nurse to tell us our game plan for next cycle. I will take femera 5mg from cd 3-7 and take the ovidrel shot on cd 12. I already have those being worked on at the pharmacies so it set to go when the time comes. I’ll also order lots more opks and a new thermometer so I’m all set to go. Things are getting so real now. Biggest thing is I need my cyst to be gone before I can start the meds next cycle. So nervous. Today was my darkest opk at 12pm and we bd at 10pm. Whoops on the sway. Also brought the stork insemination kit.

5/5/19: I need one more temp to confirm ovulation. Looks like the big day was one day earlier than I thought based off of temps instead of 24 hours after darkest opk. If I ovulated on the left side, that means our timing with bd was great. I had plenty of my is ewcm this cycle. We didn’t use the stork kit. Next steps are to prepare for our medicated cycle just in case this one doesn’t work out.

5/11/19: Today I am 9 dpo. Planning to use my first response with fmu tomorrow which is mother’s day. I already have my castor oil pack and 50 opks from amazon and my femara in the cabinet. Tuesday I will have my ovidrel injection in the mail. Things are getting very real.

5/12/19: Took a frer and got 2 lines within proper time frame. Went back like 20 mins later and it’s super light. I hope this is real. I will test tonight or tomorrow morning. A bunch of ppl are saying I may be 8 dpo based off of temps. That means my sway was trash if that’s the case. I don’t feel pregnant. My bbt even dropped today. Only symptoms is ovary pain, my breast have grown, my breast and nipples are sore, and my cm is dry when it’s usually ewcm by now.

5/15/19: Started spotting so sure af us on the way especially with huge temp drop.

5/16/19: Af full flow and hoping no cyst this time.
