@Kends congrats on the BFP and a happy healthy pregnancy to you!
@JL well done on quitting, we've only got one life, no point being unhappy in it. I'm dreading going back to work, I've about 8 more weeks of unpaid leave and then have to go back :'( I was really hoping I'd return to work pregnant so I'd have less time to be there but it wasn't meant to be!

AFM: Day 12 of bleeding, I'm still temping but have absolutely NO idea when I might ovulate so this cycle is just going to be a BD when he's home and wait and see!

@congrats Kends!
@beck that’s a long leave! You are lucky. The maximum I can take off for for maternity leave is 12 weeks. It’s always so hard returning to work with the baby so little.
@Chris Welcome! Hopefully April will be better luck for all of us!
AFM: I’m now on CD14. I thought I was O’ing early, but I did not. Guessing it will be either tomorrow or Friday. I’ve had a really bad couple of days, and I hope today is much better. I only have 4 days left until vacation, and I can’t wait!

Congrats kends!

I am CD 5 and today is my appointment with a new Gyno. Not sure what she will do today but probably just come up with a plan to get blood work done. I am going to give myself till my one year mark to get pregnant without having to result to IUI but I have a feeling that is where I will have to go. The one year mark will be July 17th.

@bug -- why IUI if you've had good SA and HSG resuts? I think i remember you having an HSG already? Have you had your hormones tested? FSH/LH on CD 3 (with U/S to check follicles), 21 day progesterone and AMH? I wouldn't spend money on IUI without those tests being done if you have not already to confirm ovarian reserve is OK. We are giving ourselves until July as well before pursing IVF (which is our next choice due to age of my little eggies).

@lissa, no I have not that was what my appointment was about. I miss the CD 3 testing and AMH testing, but I have CD21 testing schedule which will be April 26th. I will also have an ultrasound done that day as well. The doctor I met today said we will try clomid for 3 cycles of course that wont happen till my test our done. But we have a plan and if I dont fall pregnant in those 3 cycles she will refer me to a RE. She also recommended I use OPK test and not to rely on my BBT as much, so looks like I gotta start POS a lot more. Going to order some off line to get a bigger amount than what sells in the stores. I did buy some EPO to try as well.

@bug -- sorry you are going through all of this testing and believe me i understand! I started with the initial consultation in February with the RE and got my BFP right before i was scheduled for CD3 testing. So i still haven't had that and plan to do so when my next cycle starts. I did have my AMH because my RE says you can have that done at any point in your cycle as it does not fluctuate like other hormones do throughout the cycle.

I think the clomid is a good option for you since everything else has been testing normal but of course they have to do the initial bloods before they will prescribe it. The RE also tested my thyroid so you may want to ask to have that checked as well. I've heard EPO helps with cm but i'm afraid to try it. I've read a lot of people on here that did have good luck with it tho! This month i added vitex and DHEA. The DHEA is somewhat controversial but it was recommended by the RE. They say it will a few months for it to take an effect but it is supposed to improve egg quality in those that are deficient in DHEA (which is a hormone). Of course you need a blood test for that too so since you're going in anyway maybe they can test DHEA -- again i don't think it fluctuates during the cycle so you could ask for that at you CD21 test. You can supplement with DHEA over the counter and don't need a prescription for it. I heard it has some bad side effects but i haven't noticed any yet (i'm taking a super low dose).

BBT is so helpful after O so please don't stop taking it. Every time you see a spot of blood around 12-14 DPO you'll wonder if its implantation bleeding or AF and you BBT will let you know. But i understand BBT doesn't give you a warning before O so it's not very helpful early in your cycle. I agree daily (twice daily if you can and if not then do afternoon only) OPK will be more of an indicator that its coming (try the two lines type and not the digital). Does your O date fluctuate a lot month to month? Mine is pretty consistent CD15-18 (except this month of course because i'm just coming off a MC).

@lissa. I dont plan on stopping my BBT tracking. I kinda am addicted to it. My doc didn't mention doing the AMH at a different time than CD3. Shes going to test my thyroid and blood sugar at the same time as well. I will probably do twice a day and definitely not gonna do digital opks. Thanks for share the info. Good luck with the DHEA and catch your rainbow egg.
