Hi ladies! I have a question about temping. I'm on CD 21 today and my temp has consistently been 98.78 F since CD 16. What will a change in temp / temp dip mean?

@marj, my understanding is that if your temp drops close to the end of your luteal phase AF is likely on the way that day or the next. If your temp drops for one day about 7-10 dpo then it could be an implantation dip; however, there is debate on whether or not that exists.

AFM: temps still up, bleeding has turned to spotting on day 7 - I'm going to test again tomorrow morning at what would be 14dpo to see the if the test has progressed. I'm still feeling really hopeful. Hope everyone is doing ok!

Edit: I spoke too soon, heavy bleeding again

@JLttc#2 Thanks for that info! :-) I hope my temp doesn't change for a couple of days then.. Or if it does, it only dips for
a day.

AFM my daughter woke me up at a similar time today. Good news is I temped anyway and it was the same as that time yesterday (97.9). Then when I woke up for work it was .1 above what it was yesterday (98.3) l. AF is supposed to be here today due to my 10 day LP, but I think with these temp she won’t be, but we’ll see

AFM I think this rollercoaster is a bust. I'm crampy today and still bleeding significantly so I do suspect a m/c :(

@Shanta sorry your IUI didn't work. Did they test your hormones to confirm your egg quality? I'm about the same age as you and they said with a low AHM number they recommend donor eggs. Thankfully my number is high so if we need to go IVF we might have success. I'm not going to do IUI because we have gotten pregnant twice on our own in the last 6 months but had two miscarriages so that seems unnecessary. We are going to try naturally for a few more months to see if we can get a sticky bean and then maybe skip to IVF if we can afford it.

I didn't use an OPK this morning (since my test yesterday was so faint). I also haven't had my post O temp rise yet, so maybe O will happen today!

For those who temp how far down does your temp drop before AF? Is it back to below coverline, just like a small dip, significant dip, but not below coverline? Just trying to get a feel for what to be on the look out for.
