Question

Cervical Position

Here’s a question more just out of curiosity than anything. How many of you track cervical position? And if you do, is it normally where it “should be” throughout your cycle or early pregnancy (first 5 weeks)?

Generally it is a good sign if it stays high and closed as your af due date approaches. When you are about to get af it will generally go low and open. It does the same and goes low and open for ovulation. Unfortunately my cervix stays high until hours before af arrives so it never really gives me an early indication of pregnancy. Plus my cervix is always slightly open and soft because i've had children. I find tracking my cm very helpful for predicting ovulation but again my cm is generally same same when i'm pregnant vs not. I get a little more creamy cm but never enough to be sure i'm pregnant early on.

I always have a high cervix. Mine never goes medium or low. So I was just curious if I’m just weird or if it is fairly common to have a cervix that doesn’t “play by the rules” so to speak. Lol

I find that mine can even move throughout the day. The only time i noticed a true difference is the day before or day of O when its so high and soft it seems to disappear. Other than that i think its too variable to really tell me anything meaningful.

@lissa Mine changes throughout the day as well. In the morning, it always starts firm. Then it’s alwags soft by the time bedtime rolls around.

Stupid cervix! Lol mine goes real high for one day during my fertile window...not always ovulation day. And low a day or so before af. And every where in between thru out my cycle.
Although I did get a hint that I was pregnant when it didnt come back down at af time. Although now at 6 weeks its sitting medium to high.

Just following up on this post. I'm 12 DPO and waiting for AF. I took HPT 10 and 11 DPO and got . I'm not testing again until after AF is due. She's due on Monday (i have a long LP normally) and today stupid cervix went high and soft. Right before it did that i had ewcm. It literally will move within a matter of hours. So now of course i'm thinking this is a sign. I hate the TWW.
